Q) Why are my 1ticket purchases entered into the Portal incorrectly?

Modified on Thu, 21 Nov, 2019 at 11:47 AM

Occasionally, when 1ticket sends your recently purchased tickets to our portal, information such as price, ticket count, or seat numbers may be incorrect.  This might be due to the way their platform is gathering the ticket information.  There are two ways 1ticket can gather this information:

  1. Parsing purchasing emails.
    or
  2. Crawling your account.

In some instances, 1ticket will send listing information to our portal after ONLY parsing the applicable sale's confirmation email which might not contain all necessary information (is odd/even, seat numbers, sale price, etc).

To avoid these cases, simply log into your 1ticket account, navigate to the "Settings" page, and turn on the "Listing Creation Safeguard" feature.  Doing this will only push data to our portal AFTER your account has been successfully crawled.
